Sage has sandy blonde hair that is usually worn out and natural or up in a messy bun. She runs her hand through her hair when she is frustrated or annoyed. Her eyes are a unusual steel-like grey. She is of average height, standing at 5ft 7. Since she is an auror, she has a rather athletic build, though this doesn't mean she is any less curvacious.
Attire: Simply, Sage likes to look and feel good. Her wardrobe is extensive and she hardly ever throws anything out. She likes to wear the latest fashions, though she doesn't make it apparent to everyone. She prefers clothes she can move easily in, which especially comes in handy with the line of work she's in. But if she is going out, she will dress to impress.

Personality: Sage's personality is very diverse, and it changes depending on whom she is with. She has a generally ‘cold’ disposition, which is clearly displayed through her interactions with other people. When she forms a new acquaintance, it is done so grudgingly. She doesn’t mind muggles, she can put up with them per say. But to her they are a general annoyance; they're in her world to make it harder. She tries her hardest to be somewhat patient with them, because of the line of work she is in.
Sage possesses the qualities of both a Gryffindor and a Slytherin, but those of the later are definitely more prominent. She is bold but cunning, two personality traits that she prides herself on. She gives her views on subject frequently, whether they are called for or not. She is brutally honest and get’s straight to the point. She is always very tactless when speaking to anybody, usually forcing people to initially have a defensive approach towards her
If there is a subject or a situation she doesn’t agree with, everyone knows. She will try to change it to suit her; this applies to a lot of aspects of her life. She is very manipulative of people, using guilt and wit to the extreme. She has a dry sense of humour that only her close friends and family understand.
Sage has many dark, underlying secrets and fears. She is frightened to trust people, especially men, because of events that occurred in her childhood. Her father left her mother for another woman, though this event may not seem to traumatic, it was for her. When her father left her mother, it destroyed her family. She was the strong one and has learned to conceal all her emotions from the world, therefore appearing a 'cold' person. She is doesn't like showing too much emotion, as she thinks it will make her appear vulnerable. She is scared to become to attached to someone because she is afraid they will fail her as her father did. She doesn't dare to try and hope that there is someone in this cruel world who could love her and never leave her.
She only trusts her family, the only people she can rely on fully. She will always be scared by her father and vows to be nothing like him.
Skills: Is exceptionally gifted at Transfiguation and Defence Against the Dark Arts. She loves a challenge, especially a duel and has a wide knowledge of spells. She also possesses a love for quidditch which she developed over her time at Hogwarts. Her preferred position is beater. She is very active and likes to keep in shape. Before she became an Auror, she went to Japan for a short time and learned the ancient art of Tai Kwan Do.
Strengths: Easily picks up new skills and adapts according to situations. Doesn't back down from a challenge. Is physically and skillfully strong. Is not intimidated easily.
Weaknesses: Vain and Proud. Has a fiery temper that is easily ignited. Doesn't trust people easily, especially men. She also has many hidden secrets that are best forgotten.
The Story
History:

Railton is a cruel and conceited man, who thrives upon being superior to others. He met Jade Faal, at a Quidditch World Cup where he was commentating. They were married a year after, though they didn't have Sage and Orlando until nine years into their marriage. It appeared that he loved his wife and children, and that he was a devoted father. But this was all an illusion, nothing could keep him from flirting and shagging other women.
As a child, Sage looked to him as her role model. Sage had always had a close relationship with her father, this all changed when he ran off with another woman. Railton left his previous family with nothing, thus they had many court battles to determine property ownership, ect. He won some things but the majority of his wealth was given to his grief-stricken wife, Jade. It is unknown to Sage if he remarried, but recently she has discovered he had another child by his mistress, which causes her even more anguish. Railton has had no contact with Sage or Orlando for over ten years, and she wants it to remain this way.

Jade was once a woman well respected throughout wizarding society. She had an 'air' to her and was sought after by many a man. She met her former husband Railton at a Quidditch World Cup. They soon fell in love and married when she was young. They were unable to conceive for many years, thus Sage and Orlando were a blessing. After the twins were born, Railton grew distant and tasitile. He was hardly home and always making excuses as to where he was. Jade soon discovered he was having an affair and thus Railton left her.
When her husband left her for another woman, it tore her apart. Her once calm and graceful demeanor was changed to one of constant pain and heartache. Many a rumor was created wondering why Railton had left her, this caused her even more distress. She was blamed by many for the path in which her marriage had taken, even though it had been Railton who had been having the affair. People could find no wrong with him, even though he had abandoned his wife and two young children. Jade tried to be strong for her children, and eventually she fell into a deep depression. It took Sage many years of caring for her mother, to help her to attain something of her former life. Even now, years after her divorce, she is still very fragile.

Orlando is Sage's fraternal twin, therefore they are very close. When their father left them, Sage was the stronger one of the two, therefore she bore both their pain. Orlando is reclusive and more devious than Sage is. He and Sage virtually share everything, but avoid the topic of their father at all costs. It would only re-open wounds for both of them, as they both looked to him as their role model. Orlando seems to have moved on in life; becoming a Healer and he is looking for a steady relationship. Sage, meanwhile, is still caught up in the past. Orlando knows she has trust issues and respects her for it, as she was the one that kept their family together.
Orlando has a fiery temper, that at time can be worse than Sage's. He can't keep his feelings 'bottled up' inside him like Sage can, and is much easier to provoke. Sage is one of the only people who can put up with his fiery bursts. They currently share an apartment together in London. Sage calls Orlando, 'Orly' sometimes but he doesn't like it. Only their mother, her and his eventual girlfriend will be allowed to use this name.
Sage's Story:
Sage has Spanish and French heritage, thus she possesses specific traits from both cultures. Sage and her twin brother, Orlando, were born into a prestigious family of wealth and importance, though this changed through certain events. Jade and Railton met at a Quidditch World Cup where he was comentating. They were married a year after, in France. Though both Jade and Railton had always wanted children, they hadn’t been able to conceive for many years, thus Sage and Orlando were a blessing for them.
Sage and Orlando grew up in the rolling hills of France; they had a very sheltered childhood until one day where tragedy struck their family. Sage was barely nine years old when her father ran off with another woman. This scarred her family greatly and put great strains upon her mother and her brother. Her father had been having an affair for a year before he left them, her mother had suspected it and had only recently had voiced her concerns. Sage’s family was in tatters; her mother distraught and broken and her brother relcusive and tastile. Sage took it upon herself to be the strong one of the family, for her mother and brother. She shielded her emotions from her family, concealing them until they were all asleep, that’s the only time she let her tears fall.
Her father leaving her has made her lose all faith she has ever had in men. The only man she trusts is her twin brother. Numerous nights after her father left, she cried herself to sleep. From then on, she vowed no-one should see her cry. She has prejudice views against men and knows she could never trust anyone again the way she had trusted her father. This trust issue has been evident in all her relationships, they have obviously been few. That is why she is so distant and cold towards everyone but her family. She is afraid to trust someone, to hope that someone in this world is decent enough to love her and never leave her. This is her biggest weakness, though she would never admit it.
Sage was sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts instantly because of her vanity and pride. She had to conceal herself from the world, in order to protect herself from its horrors. She had ‘friends’ at Hogwarts, but only one who really mattered to her. Holly and Sage met on the first day of school, they were very much alike. Both coming from wealthy families and both possessed great pride. This proved a great match and they became fast friends. Holly was the only person outside of her family that Sage trusted fully. It had taken many years for Holly to earn this trust; she seemed to understand why Sage found it so hard to trust people. She was also the one other person outside of her family who knew her story. But in Sage's sixth year at Hogwarts, another tragic event occured. Holly was killed in a raid in her home by death eaters, Sage was beyond broken. She became more distant and tasitile than ever before. She vowed to seek revenge, thus she became an Auror.
Sage was a diligent student who vowed never to be like her father, born into money so he didn’t have to work. She worked for her grades and passed seventh year with good marks. She had a few relationships with boys at Hogwarts, but all failed because of her trust issue.
After she had finished Hogwarts, she went travelling. She needed to decide what she wanted to do with her life. She travelled through Europe and Asia mainly, seeing things she had only heard about. Before she returned home she went to Japan and spent three months learning the ancient art of Tai Kwan Do. This assists her in her career and also calms her.
She loves her mother and brother beyond anything and would die for them. She doesn’t take to her family being insulted, and can become very aggressive upon this issue. She also doesn’t like when people try to pry into her family, some secrets must stay hidden, while others must be forgotten. She has found out recently her father had another child by the woman whom he left her mother for, her brother and mother don’t know and she plans for it to stay this way. She would rather that she was the only one that has to bear this pain. But if she ever meets the child, well let’s just hope she doesn’t.
She wanted a new start to life, something to focus her energy on, whilst seeking revenge for the death or her one only true friend. Thus she decided to become an Auror, she felt this was the best way possible.

[/u][/center]“Are you insulting me?” the blonde asked the cowering, watery-eyed man in-front of her. Her icy tone cut through the heavily scented air of the potions shop, a number of other customers raised their heads in panic at the tone. Sage felt the curious and wary stares on her back and smiled cruelly, “Are you finished prying into business that is not yours?” she called out coldly, not turning around and keeping her attention focused on the sad-excuse-for-a-man in front of her.
Instantly people’s heads dropped and Sage sighed in annoyance.
“No....no....no Mam...I mean...mean...mean miss,” She ran her eyes over him and nodded her head, he breathed a sigh of relief. “The papers,” was all she said and snatched them from him as he drew them out of a draw underneath the old-fashioned counter. Her eyes quickly scanned them, before she stored them safely in her cloak. “I won’t forget what you said,” and turned on her heal, storming out of the store. The echoes from her boots still ringing off the marble floors.
The disgusting smells of the alleyway hit her hard, it was a combination of rubbish, sweat, grime and something remotely dead. She wrinkled her nose in disgust and made her way towards the end of the alleyway where it met Diagon Alley. She walked with her head upright, shoulders back and determined. She was dressed in a black coat with black-knee high boots adorning her feet, her favourite.
She turned onto Diagon where she felt something hard and pudgy nudged her shoulder. A boy, maybe fourteen or fifteen stood before her. He smiled at her, but she did not return it. Her face remained expressionless and his face became fightened.
