The Creation
Name: Teresa Damien
Nickname: Torii
Species: Animagus?
Gender: Female
Age & Birthday: 27, January 6th
Appearance:
Human
Not one to brag about her looks, Torii is actually quite stunning. Blonde hair fall in loose curls to slightly below her shoulders, often pulled back to show the sharp contours of her face. A lower layer of her hair is lined with reddish-brown streaks. Eyes are narrow, with silver irises accented nicely by a feathery ring of eyeshadow and mascara. They always have a look of blatant curiosity or quiet determination. The kind of eyes that laugh, that are the window to her very soul. She has a full mouth that is usually curved into a smile or pressed tightly into a thin line, a symbol that she's thinking or planning.
She has a modest complexion, not gothic pale, but not sand-baked dark. She has the compact, slender build of an athlete or dancer, with long, graceful legs and thin arms. But whereas most athletes or dancers would be atmosphere-scraping tall, she is short, reaching only about 4'6". She's slightly thinner than would be healthy, mainly because she is often too busy to eat. But more important than outer appearance is her inner beauty, the light that shines only in animal form. But you'll be hard-pressed to ever catch a glimpse of it.
Animal
Torii's animal form looks like an average wood fox. Thin, coarse auburn fur is predominate on the back and upper legs. All four paws are covered in soft brown-black fur, which cover small, clawed feet. The fur around her chest ears, face, and underbelly is long and as soft as her paws. Her chest and underbelly is a snowy white colour, sticking out like a sore thumb against her fiery pelt. The tips of her ears, tail, and the sides of her muzzle are a dark black colour. Her tail is fluffy but instead of taking on its soft appearance, it's very coarse and has a straw-like texture. Every animal form of an Animagus has some kind of familiar tie to its human form, and Torii is no exception. Like the brown streaks in her hair, every tint in her fur is streaked with brown except for her white chest. Her eyes are also the same shade of intelligent silver. (I will edit the picture if accepted.)
Attire: Her attire is pretty Muggle-like. No fancy robes or wizards' hats. She usually wears various shades of denim jeans, a t-shirt or tank top of some kind, and either a faux-fur, leather, or denim jacket. Her wand is usually kept either in the back pocket of her jeans or the pocket of her jacket, depending on the situation. Her hair is often either partly pulled back with intricate barrettes or pulled southern-girl style back in a thin ponytail, causing the curls of her hair to barely outline her shoulders. She usually wears average Nike's or the occasional Reebok.

The Potential
Alignment/Occupation:
Current Order of the Phoenix Member/Works part-time at a Muggle Vet
Personality:
Torii is an small-town girl at heart. She's enthusiastic and curious, always eager to know more about people and the world around her. She has a natural determination about her, but it's usually concealed by a quiet air. She's very fair and thoughtful, always trying to find the good in everyone and look beyond the meaning everyone else comes to a stop at. She inquisitive to the max, asking question left and right until she understands something or can do something to a T. Is she a teacher's pet know-it-all? Far from it. She's a down-home kind of girl.
Violence was never one of Torii's strong points, but she got rough when needed. She's not one to let her small size control her personality. She's not a woe-is-me, I'm-gonna-wallow-in-self-pity kind of person. Though she does have her low days, she's usually on top of things. She's not bubbly or girly or any of that preppy stuff. You'd be more likely to find her swimming in the lake than shopping or fussing over her appearance. Looks are irrelevant, much like trying to perfect them.
Life, love, family, justice, and understanding are five words that often come up when Torii describes herself. She will fight to her last breath for what she believes is right, no matter the personal sacrifice. She is never seen crying, always forgetting her petty worries for the sake and well-being of others. She cares deeply enough to give up everything for those close to her, which could prove to very fatal in the long run.
Torii is naturally quiet despite her curiosity and fighting spirit, and chivalry. She can often be seen writing in a mysterious journal on her off days or spare time. Most believe she's writing poetry or stories or diary entries of her adventures. Most of the times she is. But if you look closely in the journal, you'll notice none other than spells written in the margins. Most of the spells and moderate to severely damaging hexes, but none have been used. The cause of Torii's quiet nature is the fact that she's surrounded on all sides by death every day. This causes her to become distant fairly often, but she tries to remain chipper on most occasions.
Skills:
- Can write potentially dangerous hexes
- Very strong swimmer
- Powerful knowledge of the Dark Arts
Strengths:
- Transfiguration spells
- Quick and lithe
- Excellent at surveillance
Weaknesses:
- House-Elf-made chocolate
- Not willing to give up the lives of her friends
- Potions
- Slightly near-sighted
The Story
History:
Torii was born into a peaceful wizarding world, hidden away in Godric's Hollow, the home of three famous wizards, Godric Gryffindor, Albus Dumbledore, and Harry Potter. She was perfectly content for the first three or four years of her life. She showed magically-inclined promise at a young age, often casting the most basic spells with her mother's wand. Her father had disappeared, supposedly off on some business trip at his Muggle job. The Damiens were one of the biggest groups of blood traitors around, embracing and protecting Muggles instead of looking down on them.
Torii was happy living with her mom, and at last she started school at Hogwarts.
The girl's first year at magic school started off shaky. She almost missed the Hogwarts Express, not knowing how to find it and being too terrified to cross the barrier. Then, she almost knocked the boat over on the way to the castle. Probably the most petrifying part was when it came time for her to be sorted. She spent at least five minutes on that stool, waiting for the Sorting Hat to make its decision. Torii was torn between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Showing promising intelligence, she was sorted into Ravenclaw. The rest of the year passed smoothly, if you don't count all the points she lost for sneaking into the kitchen at night. And students getting petrified left and right.
Second year was a major thrill ride. Defense Against the Dark Arts became a favorite because of Professor Lupin giving so much hands-on training. The year went by far too quickly in her opinion, with little interest besides DADA classes.
Torii was in her third year of Hogwarts when she heard the news from fourth-year Gryffindor Harry Potter. Being a Ravenclaw, she didn't believe him until she saw Cedric Diggory's body, obviously murdered by the killing curse. It was devastating to imagine the Dark Lord returning. Torii went home with terror circling in her mind. She often lost sleep at night, for something that happened over fifty years ago. Weird, no?
Fourth year was totally blah except for the rumors continually circling about Voldemort. Torii excelled in Transfigurations, bombed in Potions, and constantly sneaked into the kitchen. She developed a fond affection of house elf-made chocolate. Unfortunately, Umbridge caught on far more than one account. Scars shine pale white against her skin I will not sneak out. But Torii left for the summer in rather high spirits. Umbridge was gone, she hadn't heard of any rumors about Voldemort, and she was getting closer and closer to graduating.
Torii's fifth year was probably the most bland and unappealing year she spent at Hogwarts. Though the new Potions teacher had a lot more spirit, she continued to fail. Worse, Snape was the DADA teacher. Could the position be held by a worse candidate? Though Umbridge was pretty bad. Plus, with Dumbledore gone every other day, a pricking sense of unease consumed her as she thought of how vulnerable the school seemed without the headmaster. Then, more tragedy. Dumbledore's death. In Torii's mind, the school was doomed.
And doomed it was. The next year, the Death Eaters moved in. Torii had turned seventeen earlier that year and decided that she didn't want to go to Hogwarts, not in its current state. It was soon after her decision that the young adult learned the truth about her father. He was a Voldemort supporter. The thought enraged and hurt Torii so deeply that she left home and began traveling. Every chance she got, she learned about the Dark Arts and practiced Dark spells. Not because she wanted to fight the Dark Lord. She didn't care about that. She wanted to save her father. You see, she didn't believe her father was acting of his own accord, but under the control of the Imperius Curse. Later during the year, the school fell to the Dark Lord, the famous Harry Potter met his end, and the Order of the Phoenix became little more than a group of terrified wizards.
During the ten year time slot between the final battle and now, Torii has been constantly trying to figure out the truth about her father. Is he Imperiused? Or is he really a supporter of Voldemort? Torii figured that flat-out spying and infiltration was the key to finding out. She spent those ten years trying to become an Animagus. She was asked to join the Order of the Phoenix, when they heard of what she was trying to accomplish. On the day of her 27th birthday, Torii mastered being an Animagus. Now she's out to find her father. She'll either free him, or he will die by her hand.

A gentle rustling, softer than feathers on the wind, thrummed gently against a winding line of concrete slabs. Bright silver, almost ivory orbs pierced the darkness, an eternal intelligence shining from their depths. Ginger, pacing along in wolf form, was oblivious to the fact that she should've been asleep hours ago. Time was irrelevant to her, almost like what clothes she wore under her hoodie. Placing each foot single-file in front of the other, she trotted along the narrow sidewalk that wound its way throughout the vast majority of the park. A light, lofty breeze ruffled her thick fur, slicking it back. An off-white semi-circle floated above her, casting a shadow, a symbolic partner. So quiet out. Peaceful. Serene. That's good. Unnatural, but good, she thought astutely.
The seemingly young lycan cast her thoughts away at a fetid scent. Her nose wrinkled in disgust. Nonetheless, she followed the aroma. What her gaze rested upon made her lip curl in distaste. Vampire, she thought acidly. Her brief moment of hostility dissipated, and curiosity overwhelmed her. Lessening her pace, she turned toward the vampire. A young man, a boy at first glance. He looked to be only a few years older than Ginger herself. Ignoring every instinct that told her to retreat or bight the stranger's throat out, she took several steps forward until she was almost hovering over the boy. He looked like he was asleep, but she wasn't for sure. Lowering her muzzle, the lycan did the most barbaric thing ever thought of by her kind. She nudged the vampire.
