After James Potter, Sebastian Snape, Sirius Black, and Remus Lupin left Hogwarts, they began to drift apart. Sirius and Remus entered the Auror training progam, Sebastian became head of the Department of Mysteries, poor old lonely Peter set up a little shop for himself in Diagon Alley, and James, well James started to see some things different. Lily had rejected his advances for the last time and was now seriously seeing Severus Snape, Sebastian's twin brother.
This final rejection was the last straw in a steadily growing hatred in James. When his parents were killed by a rouge wizard, he blamed the Ministry for failing to protect them, and more specifically, his old friends Sebastian and Remus. He had been slowly turning away from all that was considered 'good' for some time, but his parents' death and Lily scorning him finally drove him mad. He removed himself from normal society and was not seen for many years.
To really get James all pissed off, Lily gave him a little slack, they got together for a bit, they had sex, but Severus wasn't happy about it. The same night that Lily had sex with James, Severus met up with Lily and Lily told Severus what happened. Severus took away the memories of James and Lily getting along so Lily hated him once more. However, James still recalls his night with Lily. Then Severus had sex with Lily himself so she wouldn't question the loss of her virginity. So Harry really would be James’ son, instead of Severus’, but Elina would be Severus'. However, Harry still thinks he is Severus' son.
Now it is Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts and things are going quite well. Snape married Lily Evans and soon after, she gave birth to Harry, who was followed two years later by a younger sister. Remus Lupin is now the Headmaster after the sudden retirement of Albus Dumbledore in Harry's fifth year and the Ministry of Magic is run by a very capable Lucius Malfoy. Yes, things are going well....
But will it continue?
James Potter has been in hiding, biding his time and gathering followers. He has set his sights on those who he sees as betraying him......and all those who follow them.
