Days after getting out of Julia Raven's house, Dove Harrington took her chances and headed to the almost ghost town, know as Budleigh Babberton. With eyes opened wide at the town, Dove gently touched her fingers to the nearest house and sighed. 'To many have fallen here... all because the Dark Lord has used Dark Magic... if only there was a way for this place to be alive again...' Eyes half closed Dove parted her lips, and used her black hoodie to cover her face as she entered the house. There was no point, but this house had been long forgotten, and it had caught her attention right off the bat. "Hello..." She called out loudly, her small scars on her cheek, reminding her of the last time she had spoken rudely to anyone. "If someone is there please don't hex me... I mean no harm..." She knew only have that was a lie. She didn't want to get hexed, and well she did mean harm, but she didn't in a way. Eyes widening in fear as she slipped her way to the stairs. "I guess no one's home.." She whispered to herself, wanting the silence to vanish, and for, even if they were from the Order, to come running in and screaming like howlers.
Slowly she began to climb the stairs, a foil smelling stench came flowing over to her, in a wave that seemed to knock her over. Fear grasped her stomach as she edged closer to the door, to what would seem like, the master bedroom. She closed her eyes, trying to bring the courage she had to open the door. Heart pounding she reached and than turned the door knob and pushed. The scent that grasped her nose was unbearable, so she plugged her nose, knowing what laid in font of her. Looking on the ground, there laid two bodies, one of a man's and one of a woman's. Dove screamed. Both had been killed by magic, but in a bloody way, a more murderous way, that Dove had seen in the muggle world. Stumbling backwards she felt herself lose her balance and tumble down the stairs. Her hands covering her head. It took a moment for her to reach the bottom of the stairs. Cuts and bruises everywhere on her body, all but her face, which only happen to have a long cut, where she had been cut earlier. "Help.." She, uttered before she closed her eyes
[OOC; okay so here I go. I'm the first one to post in this board. YAY!! Anyways... hope to see someone post, if you don't understand this post here, it goes as Dove finds two dead people in a room, and falls down the stairs. Sage swore as she turned around and stalked back to her desk in the Auror Headquaters. Like she wanted to be sent to Budleigh Babberton of all places! She swore again and ran a frustrated hand through her hair. She needed sleep more than anything. She had been working herself far to hard lately, working until the wee hours of the morning, and then coming back at 8am. But she wasn't about to rest until she had solved the murder of one of her personal contacts. Usually she didn't get so attached to a case, knowing that many Auror's died that way. They got so caught up in what they were doing that they let their guard down. Sage never allowed herself to do that, appearing cold and distant to those who didn't know her.
She donned a black trench coat before apparating to the lovely ghost town.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sage opened her eyes and surveyed the long dead town of Budleigh Babberton. It had been many years since she had been to this town, and she was thankful for the memories of what it once had been. She trailed her gaze along the street, searching for any signs of life. She doubted anyone but homeless people and those whom she would rather not name, lived here. It was a place that reeked of death and decay. She didn't know why she had been sent here, apparently just to check up on things! Like anything remotely interesting would be happening in this ghost town anyway.
She turned on her heel and stalked down the street, crossing her arms across her chest in a feeble attempt to make herself warmer. She could see her breath in front of her face. That's when she realized her breathing was all she could hear. It was silent. Nothing moved. No creaking doors or windows, no footsteps or quiet chatter. Nothing. It was eerie to be sure, but Sage had been to far worse places in her time. She continued down the street until she heard a scream come from within one of the houses a few streets away.
She immediately drew her wand and took a defensive stance. Something was amiss, that was sure. The skin on her neck prickled, she was sure something or someone was watching her. She scanned the desolet houses for any signs of life. She couldn't see anything because of the thick fog. She heard a voice come from a house not to far away, she quickly headed towards it, keeping her wits about her the whole way. She pushed open the door, narrowing her eyebrows. She careful not to touch anything, it could be a trap for whole she knew.
When her neck prickled or she could tell something was wrong, she usually was right. She heard a feeble voice utter 'help' before silence once again enveloped her. She waited a few minutes, waiting for the voice to speak again. Maybe it was in fact just a ghost, there were hundreds apparently loitering in this town. But her gut said otherwise. Why did she have to be hear of all nights? She took a deep breath before darting into the house, wand raised, making sure she stayed close to the walls. It wouldn't do to be hexed in the back. Knowing her back was covered gave her some assurance. Nothing moved. She walked through the house and saw a crumpled body at the bottom of the staircase. She swore and hesitantly walked over to the girl.
She wasn't dead at least as Sage could see the slow rise and fall of her chest. But it could still be a trap. Keeping her wand handy, she leaned down and touched the girls face. "Can you hear me?" she asked quietly. She didn't really want to have to carry this girl out of here. From the looks of the cuts and scratches that adorned her body, it looked like she had fallen down the stairs. She glanced at the staircase, it was rather steep. She for one would not like fall down it. But now other questions flitted to her mind. Why had she fallen down the staircase? Or had she been pushed? Sage withdrew her wand again and surveyed the empty house.
Cautiously she made her way up the stairs slowly, hating them creaking beneath her feet. She didn't weigh that much, seriously! She reached the top and a foul smell made her wrinkle her nose in disgust. It was one all too familiar too her these days, blood. She could almost envision what was on the other side of the door before she saw it. She opened it slowly and gazed at the two bloody bodies on the floor. Her face remained emotionless and stone like. Another two casualties to add to the list. That made six bodies she had discovered today. Six people killed like dogs and just thrown aside. Six people's families she had to inform that they were dead. And six piles of never ending paper work she had to complete.
She sighed and closed the door. Anyone who wasn't an Auror would be shocked by the sight of the bodies. Not Sage, she saw this almost everyday. She quickly sent her patronous to call for back up before returning to the girl. Obviously whoever had done this had left the house hours ago by the looks of the bodies, but they could still be in the area and she had to protect the girl. Sage bolted down the stairs and knealt beside the girl, propping her up against her stomach. "What's your name? How did you get here? What do you know?" she asked, her cold gaze boring into the girl's face.

When the first voice popped it's way threw the girl's skull, Dove opened a eye to see the girl race up stairs. Closing her eyes she felt herself being pushed into a sitting poison. "I'm.... Dove....exploring... found them..." Reaching she grasped her temples as she struggled to remain awake. "I... I feel down the stairs.... I think." Struggling again, she looked up at the lady in font of her, and she struggled away. "Get away from me... I didn't mean to enter at the wrong time... I'm soo sorry miss." Eyes flooding with tears, Dove struggled backwards until her back was pressed again the wall of the house. Pain ragging threw her palm, she notice a small cut, and hide it with in her coat. A few minor cuts and scratches on her in other located places, and Dove narrowed her eyes. "Your not a another one of Julia's friends, coming to hurt me are you?" Her eyes searching the stone like face. She didn't like it. It reminded her of pain..... and not to mention, the pain she felt right now. Using her only uncut hand she pressed it to her head and groaned.
Dove's heart was pounding loudly, and with in moments, if she had not calmed her self down, she could of had a heart attack. But slowly she raised her hands and took in three long breaths. Struggling to her feet, she fell down twice. Her butt feeling like it was more of a battering rank than a soft place to fall on.. once in a while. Closing her eyes she felt herself, wanting help... needing a friend... but her mind was thrown together in bits in pieces. She wasn't thinking straight at the moment. She stared blankly at the girl in font of her and a faint smile touched her lips. "Thank you Stranger..." She whispered as she tried to stand again, falling, since her legs were still weak.

Sage waited rather impatiently while the girl tried to recall what had happened. She confirmed her suspicions when she stuttered something about falling down the stairs. But what had Sage concerned was why this girl was here in the first place. Surely it wasn't common for teenagers to hang out in ghost towns and the like? Sage had been out of school for many years, but she was sure that hadn't changed. The girl struggled to get away from her, she stood up slowly, releasing her. It didn't offend her, she was use to it. She had a knack for repelling most people, exact some very persistent men. Sage held up her palms in a peaceful way. "I'm not going to hurt you," she said slowly, her eyes glued to the girls.
Suddenly her eyes flooded with tears. Great! Sage thought, that was all she needed. A crying mess on her hands! The girl looked worse than she was. Sage seriously needed to tread carefully where this girl was concerned. She was not just another person she could block out. She was obviously traumatized by her experience, and who wouldn't be? Normal people don't see two dead bodies everyday. Sage knew she had to show more compassion or else this girl was not going to trust her. When Dove mentioned Julia, Sage narrowed her eyebrows. She didn't know who Julia was, but by the sounds of it, not someone who Dove had had a friendly encounter with.
She took a slowly step towards the girl, looking pained for her. She had obviously been through a lot lately. She wanted to find out more about this Julia, and what she had done to this poor girl. "I'm not friends with Julia. I have never heard of her before," she said quietly, trying to calm the girl. "My name is Sage, I'm an Auror," she stated simply. It wasn't much use trying to hide who she was. She had tried to in the past and it hadn't worked. Dove obviously didn't work for Voldemort or any of his people, Sage had worked that out very early on.
"I'm only of the good guys," she said and gave a small smile. Merlin she hated being nice to kids. She took a deep breath before she asked some of the questions that had been nagging her. "Dove, how did you get here? And exactly why are you here?" she asked. This girl had better have a good answer. She wouldn't accept, 'oh I was just wandering around'. No, Sage wanted answers and fast. Her patience was running thin.[/size]

Dove wide eyes closed for a moment, and a her breathing calmed as she rubbed her temples. The lady had explained that she wouldn't hurt her. Her tears stopped, and her head whipped up, and Dove whinced in pain. "If your not going to hurt me...." She rubbed her arm, slightly scared, that the lady would take her to the Order. She wasn't a death eater, nor did she really want to... but she had to follow the Dark Lord. She whinced again, imaging his face and the two slits as a nose. Shuttering she watched the lady take a step towards her, a step that made Dove curl deeper away. When she heard the words she wanted, 'Thank god your not on Juila's side' Very slowly, Dove blinked seven times before she whispered.. "You need to leave... he'll hurt you..." She whispered. Sage had been nice and corcern, and now Dove had to get her away. "Get away... he'll kill you...." Dove bowed her head, a small frown placed on her face. She listened the the only the good guys, and frowned deeper. "There is NO such thing as good guys and bad guys. Only people who make the right and wrong choices, and for people who judge them for that." She was defending many people.. herself, her friends, and even her adopted and real parents. Eyes closed, Dove listened to her ask her the one question she didn't want to answer. Why are you here. "I was bored, I was riding my boom, from Hogwarts..." She trailed off, looking at the stairs... "I stopped here... needs to get away... theres nothing to do when your picked on for blood." She snarled and whipped her head around and looked at Sage. "I am here because I am bored... a better answer.. I have none." She closed her eyes and painfully took a deep breath and groaned. "I want..." She stopped and looked away and blushed.'Scorpius..'
