The Vampire's Prisoner;;

[Torii Damien]

The scene was pure chaos and utter pandemonium. Torii was in a mad scramble for her life, while trying to avoid being trampled b the prisoners' massive figures. It was fairly easy. They may have been large, but they were slow and sluggish, easy to maneuver around. It was almost fun, what with the adrenaline coursing through the witch's veins. She didn't even notice the vampiress leave the room, she was enjoying herself so much.

But as the musky vampire odor grew stronger, Torii paused to look around. Several vampires now hovered around the original, including the redhead that seemed to be causing the other witch much grief. Excellent. A real challenge.

Sure enough, the vampires leaped into the fray, forcing Torii to dart around in a bizarre mix of twist a spins, an awkward dance to an outside viewer. But it was so much fun! Torii only vaguely noticed that the vampiress was blocking her one and only exit. No problem. Torii's small size would allow her to easily slink past the woman.

Then one vampire, the redhead by scent decided to get smart. And he made a grave mistake. A firm hand clamped around Torii's bushy, coarse tail. Aw, hell no you didn't! she though wildly, twisting her body around to face her attacker. Her jaws parted in an angry snarl, a wiry growl vibrated in the back of her throat, and she chomped down on the vampire's hand.

The redheaded vampre cried out in pain - and just as he was about to let go of the fox, Evangeline was at his side. It seemed like she had crossed the room in a matter of seconds, but vampires, especially the older and more experienced ones, had mastered the ability to move at a superhuman speed. The vampires now-bleeding hand let go of the fox, but the scent of the blood, even if it was a fellow vampires, made the other vampries draw nearer.

In the quick moment in which the vampire had released the foxes tail, Evangeline had stomped her foot down on the same bushy tail that had just been gripped. She didn't care how much she hurt the fox, and she could take the pain if she was bitten - vampires healed quickly, some were just weak and couldn't handle pain. Evangeline wasn't one of them.

Now that she had the fox relatively incapacitated, so she couldn't scamper away and could hardly dodge a spell - she pointed her wand straight down at it. "Petrificus Totalus." She said ever so calmly, a small smirk coming up onto her features. It was a novice spell, yes, but an effective one none the less. [/color]

A smile curved its way across Torii's muzzle as blood--thick black blood--pulsed and spilled from the wound she had created. The taste was horrific, like taking a bite out of a melted tire. Nonetheless, Torii clamped down harder, a morbid sense of pleasure seeping into her mind as the vampire screamed and swore profanities. She was consciously aware of the other vampires floating closer to their bleeding brother. Cannibals, Torii though in disgust.

To add to the pain in the vampire's hand, Torii began shaking her head furiously from side to side, pulling and tearing at her victim's marble-white skin, now raw and covered with black liquid. Even after the vampire released her tail and raised his hand into the air, Torii hung, suspended, from it. After he shook it several times, she was finally forced to drop to the ground. She let out another bark laugh as the vampire nursed his wounds.

A sharp pain in Torii's tail made her jump and yelp. She twisted around to see a foot pinning her tail to the ground. A high-heeled foot that connected to a slender, feminine leg. Torii's pained silver gaze traveled up to the face that controlled the foot, whose heel was now digging into her tail bone. The vampiress glared down at her with a malice-filled smirk. Torii saw her slowly raise the wand. No! Torii screamed inside her mind as the witch uttered her spell. Torii struggled against the woman's foot as a jet of light shot toward her. But her struggles were in vain. Her russet body froze and stiffened. She crumpled to the ground, where she lay corpse-still. But her good fortune was that she had fallen on her wand, the location of which none of the vampires knew.

Great, how am I gonna get out of this predicament? she wondered silently. A flurry of movement caught the corner of her eyes, and the next thing she knew, she had been slammed up against the wall she was previously chained to. Her eyes caught the redheaded vampire, his face contorted with hatred, standing over her with his foot raised over her. The vampire had kicked her and her wand--nudged between her side and fore paw--against the wall. Pain coursed through every inch and surface of the fox's body, but she was unable to cry out her pain. She had to suffer in silence.

Finally! Evangeline had suceeded in defeated the Order member - a task that had been much harder than she was expecting it to be. The fact that she was an Animagus had complicated things, but Evangeline had finally accomplished what she wanted to. Once she was sure her spell had worked, she had lifted her foot, and watched as her fellow vampire, who was still bleeding profusely - his wound healed slower because he was younger - take his own revenge on her.

Once that was done, and he had kicked her against the wall, Evangeline came to his side, and placed a hand on his shoulder. Though he was still filled with rage, and when he turned to look at her, that was obvious - he knew that he had to stop, on Evangeline's order. He stepped away disgruntledly, and watched as Evangeline used her wand to pick up the fox, not wanting to touch it with her hands, levitating it before her. With a nod of her head, she gestured to the redheaded one to pick up the fox's wand, and he did.

"Come," Evangleine started, beginning to head back up the stairs. "We shall take her to the Dark Lord." With that, she smiled menacingly at the small fox, her two, sharp canines just barely peeking out from her lips.
