Scorpius shook his head. "Not you. As good as your skills are, I would have bet 10 Galleons you were pure-blood." It was a compliment...or as close as he got, anyways. He sighed and said, "That's good, because I use it all the time. I mean, that's how I was raised. Boy, you should see Father and Grandfather...they think Muggles are used for sport. Like torture and stuff."
He gave her a wink and a grin. "I said this already, but you're cute. Really cute. I'd ask you to be more, but...that'd be rushing things. And I don't want to scare you off." He smiled. "Really? I knew the Malfoys were well-known, but legends? That's pretty cool. Well, we are ridiculously rich. More money than we know what to do with, really." He yawned and said, "Well then...d'you want to come to Malfoy Manor over the summer and practice? That place is so big, I feel like I'm rattling around in an empty can. And it's owned by magical folk, so we can use magic."
Scorpius laughed. "Hey, no problem. I talk to my owl all the time. He never talks back though. Which is a good thing, I suppose. Freak me out proper, it would." He motioned to the dummies and said simply, "To learn the Unforgivable Curses. That is...if you want to. You don't have to. I just thought it's be useful for you." He looked at his new best friend and said, "What's wrong? C'mon, tell me. I'll tell you a secret if you tell me one," he cajoled.

Hi I'm Dove "Aww that's nice of you to say.... my adopted brother showed me a few skills...opps." I stopped and nodded. "Umm thanks. That's a first. I was actually compared to a half-blood or mudblood before. But with out my magic at hand." I flinched again at the word mudblood, I was the one saying it. Great. 'Thanks Al... hate you now.. kidding of course.' I thought looking away. Than I heard about what his father and Grandfather thought. "Sport... wow, were a sport." I placed my self into the ball posion, and laughed. Than I looked at him, and my jaw dropped. "Yeah rushing things." I muttered and looked at him gently. "I'll explain later about the Legend thing." I shakey breath left me, and than I reach out and petted my cat. "Oh you would do that? That's soo.... how can I put it... kind. I might have to camp outside there." I laughed a blank laugh. "Since my ex house is full of my adopted brother and his stupid 'Order'." I grumbled and looked away. I put on a brave face and faced him again, and than I couldn't help but laugh. "Well as long as your owl doesn't stare at Snake like's he's your owl's food, I think they could be friends. Snake is kind in that way. He can be everyone's guarding... or any one's foe, just depends on how your treat his girl, ME?!" I said, raising my arms, to lift my black cat with the red eyes up. "Oh... of course. That'll be soooo cool. I just don't want to hurt anyone on the Dark Lord's side if I'm freaked out....you at the most..." I looked away and bit my lip. 'Shoot I said that. Dear Dark Lord, what's he gonna say, I'm to freaked over hurting someone.... god I could never hurt my adopted brother... I just die... him.... oh my god.' I closed my eyes and felt like crying. "Oh Nothing's wrong... just wondering... why you call me cute.... if you think about it... evil comes in cute packages." I pushed a smile on my face, making the corners of my mouth reach and lighten my cheeks. "And well... i'm confused, and frustated, and well... plan bored. Nothing makes me have that same spark anymore. All I do is ditch class and well, freak out Flich." I wanted to cover my face, cause I knew my eyes were glossy now. My lip was curled in dew to the fact that I had my teeth pitching it together. "Soo...... what's your secret?" 'A little lie works... I guess.' My eyes gave me away they tighten up alittle, either because I was lying or because I was fighting back tears. 'Stupid adopted family legends... making things up, rude adopted parents... Malfoys are not bad.' I thought angerly. "No spark.... no care in the world." I muttered under my breath.

Scorpius smiled at her. "Really? Like what? Any Dark stuff?" His face looked eager, as if she might know something he didn't. His smile faded as she spoke again. "Well...really, what else is there to do with Muggles? I think as far as Mud-bloods go, they should be left alone. I mean, if we hadn't married Muggles, we'd have died out. Don't tell my father I said that, though."
He shrugged. "No problem. I get lonely over the summer. Father and Mother are always off doing stuff for the Death Eater's cause. But you're the first person I've ever invited over. And, there's no need to camp out outside...the Manor has, like, 30 bedrooms." His eyes gleamed as she spoke of the Order. "Really? Then you could be the perfect spy. Your brother thinks you loyal to the Order's cause, yes?"
Scorpius shrugged. "I can't control Bella. But she's pretty easy-going. And don't worry...not everyone is cut out to be a Death Eater. Just fake your way through and you'll be fine." He grinned. "I call you cute because you are. And you're right about evil coming in cute packages...just look at me." He smirked again. "That sounded conceited, didn't it?"
Frowning, he sat down on the chair and whispered, "My secret? Well...my father used to Crucio me if I didn't listen to him. Still does. And Grandfather was even worse." His voice returned to normal as he said, "But even that couldn't prepare me for the Dark Lord's Crucio. God, it's...it's pain beyond any other pain. It's horrible. Now, you tell me a secret." He stroked her hair. "Aw Dove, don't cry. It can't be all bad, now can it?"

I smiled. "My brother told me, and well gave me that stupid read your mind curse... got used to it, and all, but it's annoying." I closed my eyes and than opened them. " I closed my eyes and nodded. "Yeah my brother thinks I'll go with him, just becuase we were sibling together..." A few tears fell. "I blinded him.... I couldn't help it... he left... but he made me promise, not to go off and get killed, or anything stupid that he knew I would do." Rolling my eyes I peered out the window. "Oh and thanks again for the offer, I'd love to." So I sat there and loved gently, "Okay, Snake, your going to get annoyed by an owl again, so be nice." I smiled and turned and frowned. I sighed. 'Wow that's an painful secert.' "Ha, of course your cute butt head." I muttered and slightly pushed him. "Wow.... your father and grandfather live you to the stupid curl stuff my family said." I closed my eyes and opened them again. "Yeah horrible, plus my real parents are a-holes and yeah my brother wants to come get me, but I don't want to go." I closed my eyes and than looked at him. "Promise me you won't hurt my brother.... he's the only family I got left.... the Dark Lord can rip him to pieces.. anybody but your family... please...."
So there I was staring at him, of course he had to touch my hair. Great. I sighed and closed my eyes. "A secret.... okay..." I closed my eyes and thought. "Wow.... umm... lets see, deep down, I am a ninja." I smirked and than rolled my eyes. "Okay, Okay, my adopted mother told me never to talk to a Mafloy. Would you like the VERY long quote she gave me, and the curse words it holds?" I stuttered and sighed. "I'm actually going against her wishes, to even be talking to you, but I don't care." I turned my head away and smiled. "Plus the Legend part has a dark end to it. My adopted mother Franny called your family 'The Dark Legend' As in you all help the Dark Lord. They sent me and my brother to Hogwarts, I guess as spys, I gave up cause I would just talk and talk and get nothing, my brother on the other hand was different. They would of been weaped out if they hadn't lived in this country called Canada." I stopped and looked back. "I became the rebellion, right after the second year. You don't need to know how... just me being stupid. Anyways, my adopted parents were killed, they would of got my brother and me, but he dragged me away. I was forced to hear the screams....." I covered my eyes. "It was three days after I was told I was adopted... I felt betrayed, and well, my brother took care of me for a couple months until he had to leave and join the order. He made me promise him something..." I stopped.
Looking away and than back I nodded. "He promised to come get me, which I refushed, and than he made me promise to not bother with you 'darn malfoys' As he called your family. Anyways He left, sending me message each year, saying to be good, or whatever the dark lord wants you to be. All I wrote was whatever, leave me alone blind boy.... Than he wouldn't write for a year. The first year, my Third year here, I stayed with him in the house i grew up with. I'm lucky I'm still here. If it wasn't me being carried out, I be losing my mind." I stopped and covered my ears. "Than I started living on the street, and believe me, I knew a few good hearted fools, and it annoyed me, they wouldn't shut up, calling me Mudblood who has her heart set out to be in the Dark Lord Army. Stupid Mudblood. Ha, look at me, I'm going to kill Al. Getting me to say it so much..." I narrowed my eyes at the names. "Wow... I talk forever... sorry."

Scorpius looked surprised. "Read your mind curse? Wow. I would think that would come in handy and all, working for the Dark Lord. You could make sure that everyone was loyal to him." This news was both good and bad. It was good because he had nothing to hide. It was bad because people would be mighty pissed if they somehow found out. But hey, he wasn't telling anybody.
He shrugged. "Yeah...most of us are not a nice lot. Down through the centuries, we've all been members of the Knights of Walpurgis...the old name for the Death Eaters." He sounded proud of that fact. With a pained smile, he said, "I can do my best not to hurt if if I don't have to, but...well...orders are orders. Tell him to stay away from any and all Malfoys, and you should be fine. My family...we're fanatical for power. They wouldn't hesitate to kill on the spot."
Scorpius hoped his warning would soothe her nerves. He would do his best not to hurt her brother, but his philosophy was 'thy Dark Lord's will be done'. He didn't even know this brother's name. "Dove, what's his name? So I can steer clear of him?" His eyes widened at her story. "Wow. That sucks the big one. I'm quite surprised you didn't go loony, with all that stress." He patted her hand.
"It's OK now Dove. He can't force you to be anything you don't want to be." Changing the subject, he said, "Should my parents ask...you're a half-blood. For your own safety. I told you how they view Mudbloods and Muggles. I'd hate to have to curse my family."

Dove smiled. "Yeah, I just really need to remember that the name of the spell is. Or curse, I call it a curse only because it's bloodly hell if someone has to read personal secrets... that are better left hidden." Eyes eyeing the window, Dove looked at her right hand, a very faint picture of a dove with her last name was imprinted there. "Got to renew that now.. maybe add a few dots around the wings.. black eyes.. oh no... blue... yes blue.." She mumbled under her breath, talking to her self as she studied her right hand and than listen to his big, not nice lot blah, da blah blah. "Hmm so that means that some are softies, just like you." She poke Scorpius's arm and looked at him. She was still sitting on the dusty floor, but she liked it down there. When everyone had to look high and mighty, sometimes Dove liked being alone, loud and well... annoying. She than nodded. "Oh my royatily. I forgot to bow. Oh well." She rolled her eyes and placed a smile upon her face. Her paled cheeks blushing a bright red. "Aww thanks, my next letter will be all, 'Hey, guess what, I'm friends with A Mafloy. Oh my I can just picture you face. Anyways, well stay away from Mafloys, or I'll kick your scrawny butt back to Canada.' Or something like that. Oh I'll tick him off as well... wow..." Dove was smiling and she lowered it alittle. "Should of a saw that coming. Blood Thisty." Dove raised an eye brow and tilted her head. 'Wow's he's a great friend.' Than why did she feel guiltly. Very gently she got on to her knees and hugged him. "Thanks Scorpius.... his name is Fred Harrington." Dove said, releasing Scorpius and settling back, she than rolled her eyes. "Personality note, he's like me but fliped. And all... 'Ma would of wanted this... You better not of Dove, Or I'll personaly go and kick his blood arce.' God, those were the good days." Dove watched his eyes widen and she snorted with a hint of laughter. "Oh yes, I think I'm looney already. I blabed my ALMOST life story to you and I think I'm losing my mind..." Dove was snickering under her breath for a few moments till she looked at her hand, and smiled faintly, she had to get a hold of herself,
'Damn it Malfoy....So stupid... so wrong... handsome.' Her eyes sparkling alittle as she tilted her head to look at him more clearly. Than she nodded. "Yeah, but he can be sooo... how can I say it... needy, always asking for help.. I can't believe...." 'I thought we were close... stupid Fred.' Eyes closing for a moment she remembered back when she was 5 Fred had fallen out of a tree, and couldn't move his arm, shae had been there and cryed for nearly an hour cause he wouldn't stop. Now she wondered where that kid had gone. Looking at her self she sighed. 'I've done no wrong, and yet no right.' Dove let the smile grow on her face, than vanish. "Half-blood, well lets just hope, they don't go and bother Headmaster.... screwed beyond screwed." She was completely letting the cursed his family part out, though she tired to hide it and gently touched his knee, looking for a reason she looked at him gently, searching his eyes and face for an warning sign, telling her back off. "You know... I think I'm finely know why I'm looney, never meet yeah. I got to say, your growing on me every moment buddy boy, no quick movements, or I'll send my cat after you." There is was, her own natural playful self sparkling in the corner of her eye. Than she completely shook her head, letting her curls go wild. "Okay.. enough about gloomy stuff... lets play twenty questions..." She smirked. Her eye-brow cocked in cocky way. "Unless of course, your scared of what a girl, with such an innounce name, might come up with." She actually wasn't thinking any thing. But she winked to make him believe, she had something rather disturbing on her mind. 'Great now I do have a few.... disturbing questions. Hmm let me think.. ha, got it.' Than she smiled and looked at the nearest chair and pulled it towards her. "Pleasure..." She was being her normal self, though she just had a feeling it wouldn't turn out right.

Scorpius nodded. "Yeah. I would be upset if anyone ever read my personal secrets except you, 'cause best friends shouldn't have secrets between each other. Ya know?" He arched one eyebrow and said, "Why don't you ask your brother?" He looked at her hand. "Is that a Muggle tattoo? Did it hurt?" He laughed and said, "I'm no softy, I'm just loyal to my family. I mean, aren't you?"
He shuddered. "Please don't tell him we're friends. He'd have the whole Order breathing down my back, and that would piss the Dark Lord off in a big way. I'm not a fan of Crucio, believe me. But the bit about staying away from us is good. Just tell him we're super-evil and curse happy." He laughed and made a mock-scary face.
Scorpius gently hugged Dove back. She felt soft and warm in his arms, like a girlfriend would...He blinked and let her go. He didn't want to freak her out. "Fred, huh? Thanks for telling me. Now I can handle all assignments if they concern him so I can make sure he doesn't get hurt." She's so pretty, he thought. I wish she could be mine.
He let his smile grow as well. "They usually take my word for it. And if they do, I'll say you're spying on the Order. Ought to put them right." Scorpius fake-frowned and said defiantly, "No way am I scared. Ask away." He let her hand stay on his knee, his eyes filling with warmth. "Well, you're growing on me too, Dove."

Smiling darkly she nodded. "Of course, just no going into my mind tonight or tomorrow. ha, I need a day to get over the idea of actually having a friend." She smirked. Though she was varly know in her house as a trouble maker, and well a ditching, she had few friends, but they were mostly in it for the free lessions she gave to get out of classes. Which in the end, they all got caught. "Cause my brother is a loveable scrum bag." Rolling her eyes gently she tilted her head and smiled. "Actually it will be a real muggle tattoo by the end of this year, I'm to young to get a real one so it's just quill ink that should be renewed after each three days. I put it on three days ago... and it's finely washing away." She groaned. Very gently she looked at it and smiled.
Not a softie, oh well. Dove smirked and nodded. "Okay a softie that is loyal to his family and friends, how about that?" She laughed slightly and stopped to nod. "Fine." She said and took on a sour face, but couldn't hold it when he made is face. "Fine. I'll tell him I got knew friends who won't let anyone hurt me. Deal on that?" She could say she actually enjoyed being hugged back, but if she was ever put in a situation, she enjoy coming to Scorpius. "Thanks, I would do the same thing if you were placed where I am. I shouldn't care, but he's all I got other than..." She closed her eyes and pure hatred rippled across her face. "My real parents...." She had to ammit that she was worryed that something would happen but of course, she always pushed it back. She knew that her real mother was trying to get pregnant again.
Smiling at his remark, she nodded and frowned at his fake frown. "Aww, well we'll say that as well. Don't want you to get hurt now do I?" She asked, her face lightly harden into a concern. She smiled, and nodded to both his answers and thought gingerly. "Who was your first kiss?" She asked smirking. Dove slightly looked at him and than smirked. "And question number two, who was your first girlfriend or crush?" Knowing from past times, she cocked an eyebrow. "Third Question... hmmm, if you could go back in time what would you change." Than she smiled. Letting him answer the three questions she already let go.

Scorpius shook his head. "Not me. I'm not the one with the mind-reading ability." He was normally known to be cruel and unforgiving towards those not of wizard descent, but something about Dove melted him inside and made him want to protect her. He only hoped she wouldn't break his heart. He shuddered again. "Don't Muggle tattoos hurt?"
Scorpius grinned. "That'll do, Dove. That'll do. Just don't spread it around. I have a reputation to uphold, you know." He nodded again. "That'll work out nicely. If he asks for your friend's last name, I haven't a clue what to say." His eyes widened a bit. "Real parents? You mean you're adopted? They don't hurt you in any way, do they?" He had heard horror stories about Muggle parents who beat their children, or starved them, or both. And Dove was a little skinny...
He smirked and answered her questions in order. "In answer to your questions, here we go. My first kiss...I...well...there was this Ravenclaw, and we'd never had a first kiss, so we kissed. Her name was Amanda, I think." He stammered a little before continuing.
"My first girlfriend...I've never had one. But you're my first crush." He gave her a wicked grin. "And if I could go back in time, I would change it so that not some many innocents died during the final war." He smiled and said,"Now it's your turn to answer the same three questions." Scorpius sat back and crossed his legs with a grin. This was fun.

Dove smiled at him and gently nodded. "Of course I forgot." She slaped her forhead and laughed. "Okay so you want to know about Muggle tattoos? Well what I heard from a few people is that it burns like bloodly hell, and it's on forever. So now that I found that on I was always wondering and well, it's stays forever, so I have to get the perfect one you know, so I don't have to go threw it twice." She sighed and rolled her eyes, "Well I'm guessing I will go threw it twice, once for this, and than once for children if I ever have some, adopted or not." She smiled and looked away.
"Yay! I got my way." She laughed and smirked. "I'm kidding, I won't tell a a soul. and about my brother, I'll lie and say your last name was Mayville or something odd like that." I was smiling and than frowned. "Well lets see, my real parents gave birth to me, and at that age I had a tiny ounce of power in me, and well I made them scared, I was left for two days in a room, as they left in a letter to my adopted parents." She looked away. "Well as you can tell, I was beaten twice in those two days with my REAL parents, and when I finely moved in with my magical adopted parents, hensh my last name." She closed her eyes and felt like breaking down. "Listen here Scorpius, what I tell you better not be told to anybody or your head is mine to snap... but... well during those years that I grew up with my adopted parents, they treated me slightly different, I can understand that, but what was horrible was what I did surpect even here... Second year at hogwarts... worst time ever.." She covered her eyes with the hand she had still left on Scorpius knee to her eyes.
"Okay to answer the questions, well the first one and second one go together perfectly together for me... just not in the best way. What happen was horrible, this is the only time I have to thank my brother for, if it wasn't for him, I'd more in likely either of been raped, than murdered, or the other way around..." Shruttering she sat on her arce and let her knees come to her chin. "That's another thing about it Scorpius, whatever you do, don't speak a word to anyone... his name WAS Brad Hartwig, my brother killed him... I'll tell you why maybe later, just remembering him makes me want to throw up and curl in a corner to cry my self to sleep."
Looking at Scorpius she sighed and spoke with a great a strong voice. "There are actually three things I want to change, but my main one would be to see what life would of been if my realy parents kepted me.... you don't even know the nightmare it puts me threw..." Dove touched her hand gently, and than looked at him and flushed. "Well Mr. Malfoy, I might say, about your crush on me, if your willing to give me time to think it through I might take you up on your offer." He hadn't made a offer, but she winked and closed than opened her eyes. "For once in my life, I actually feel safe again.."
Turning away she forced a large smile and than went on, "Number four; If you could be anyone in the world who would you be? And why? Number five; if you had to chose between your family or the one you love, who would you chose and why? And Number six; what would happen if you wildest dreams were to happen to you in this moment?" She asked leaning in slightly, her past memories fading, and fading quickly. "Oh and one more thing, Number seven; if you could learn anything from me what would you learn?" She cocked an eyebrow and waited for him to answer.

Scorpius cocked an eyebrow at her. "But isn't there a way to remove them?" He looked extremely pissed all of a sudden. "They...you...they deserve to die. Your real parents, I mean," he growled. He didn't know why, but he felt extremely possessive all of a sudden. Dove was too sweet and innocent to have to go through all that. "What happened in your second year, Dove?" he asked softly.
Scorpius grinned. "Dove, I'll give you all the time you need. Just fear me, love me, do as I say. No, I'm kidding," he said, referencing the Muggle movie Labyrinth. "But here's my offer...I'll be loyal to and love you, and you be loyal to and love me. Take your time and think it through." Winking, he asked, "Would you like me to give you a good first kiss, and pretend the other one didn't count?" He was being serious, though.
He smiled and said, "Alright. If I could be anyone, I'd pick my grandfather or the Dark Lord, because they are both powerful and feared. If I had to choose between them....I don't really know. It would depend on how good my relationship was with the one I loved. If it was rocky, I'd say family. But then, I'd probably say family out of self-preservation, the way that lot is."
Scorpius leaned back in the chair and continued. "I'd have more friends," he said softly. "It gets lonely being evil and a Malfoy. People either fear me or my family, thus they avoid me like the plague." He looked at he and said, "I would learn how to be friendlier." He uncrossed and recrossed his legs before adding, "Your turn, Dove."

Dove grinned, "Secretly, I believe there is a way to get them off, but I'm not sure." Sighing she grinned. But she slowly let it drop into a frown. "That's the thing Scorpius, I don't want them to live, but yet, when I think of death and them, I can't see it happening. It's a nightmare I have all the time..." Bringing her thumb to her lip she began to nibble slightly scared. Looking away and than back she let her head drop. "Lets see, nearly raped three times thankfully, I have to say, 'Thanks Fred' Seems I had a angel at my footsteps, well lets see.... just to make it clear, he was in the same house as you Scorpius, a year younger..." Closing her eyes, she took in a breath. "You would feel all happy if you realized you were one of the luckest girls in the school, even though my ex-boyfriend was pureblood, he was either wanting me to provoke people, and in which I ended up battered and cut, or he some how get me thinking he wanted to protect me... I was young and stupid than..."
She cut her self off, letting some tears drop from her eyes. "What happened was that he snuck me into his dorm, I don't have a clue how, but he did, it just happened my brother saw me being halfed dragged in and he followed. Even when he had to fight his way to me... well.... Brad scared me... that night.... was the last night I saw my brother in hogwarts, it was the last night I heard Brad call my name... but it was all wrong, he was like your father, before the Dark Lord took over... calling mudbloods flithy dirty things, that I was just a some stupid chick who needed to learn a lesson...." She looked up some tears she clung to her face, than she looked away. "Great, now I'm crying...." She turned back and struggled to smile.
"Thanks Scorpius." She breathed as she looked at her feet. "Your too good for me, I can't help but think, I'll make things worst between you and your father, and grandfather." She actually sniffled and than looked him square in the eye. "Listen Scorpius, I'll take you up on your offer, but believe me, If I happen to punch you, back the bloody hell away okay." She said not wanting to meet his eyes. "Okay so my time to answer some questions... well as you said, I rather be the Dark Lord, but a hotter, chick verson, with a nose, not just slits. Why because I just like the feeling that people will do as I say and not judge me..." She barked alittle laughter, letting color cloud her already rosey cheeks. "If I could pick between true love or family, I would put my heart and soul on the one I love, only because my family is gone..."
She cocked an eyebrow and giggled. "Well if my wish could happen in this moment, twenty five people named Bob, would come in and start dancing like looneys and bothering the heck out of you." She smirked and laughed. "Awww Scorpius, you do't scare me, I'm just always alittle scared when I'm around someone that might get hurt and it's my fault." Rolling her eyes she smiled and than frowned. "To tell the truth, the only thing I want to learn from you is what it feels like to have parents who the Dark Lord feels are loyal to him... to have the Dark Lord look at you as someone that can hep him, not betray him." My face had lighten abit, but than, I shifted my weight and smiled.
"Number eight; if you could save anyone's life who would it be and why. Number nine; what's your favourite color? Number ten; whats you favourite memory? and lastly Number eleven; if you had a daughter what would you name her and why?" She loved these questions, remembering her first day with a muggle best friend, the to gossiped for hours upon hours. She swiftly touched her leg and rubbed. It was cold, but she could last. She was always told, never let a man walk over you.. she was going to prove, even if he was still warm, that she could last all night here in the shack. Clossing her eyes, she notice her cat walking out threw the slightly opened door. "Snake you moron, you better not leave me, I might get eatten." She playfully smirked at Scorpius.

Scorpius shrugged. "To every action, there is an opposite and equal reaction," he said, quoting the Muggle Issac Newton. "In other words, there's a way to remove anything. You just have to find it." When she spoke of her real parents, he sighed. "Yeah, I know. I know my father could die any day in service of the Dark Lord, but up here I just don't see it. You know?" He tapped his head.
As she spoke, memories of a young Slytherin boy came back to him. "Ohh...Fred. Medium-length brown hair, always glaring at me for no reason, despised his House? Yeah, I remember that kid. So he'd be what, 14 now, since I'm 15? I know he just left Hogwarts one day. I never saw him again. I don't know what I ever did to him, though."
He smiled. "Naw. I think that's the other way around. But believe me Dove, best friend or not, if you punch me and ruin this pretty face, I'll hex you with a steam curse. You'll be so mad that steam comes out your ears. Literally.' He stuck out his lower lip. "But why would you ever hurt me, my friend?" Scorpius nodded. "That's probably true. But as I said, I'll deal with it."
He stifled a laugh. "Twenty-five people named Bob? Wow. Where would you find twenty-five people named Bob?" He cocked an eyebrow. "I don't scare you? Must be losing my touch." He shook his head. "It's not all it's cracked up to be. They come home tried and scared, but they try not to show it and they take their frustrations out on you. My mother raised me, since she's not actually a Death Eater, just a supporter. Whenever Father came home, he'd sometimes Crucio me for no reason."
His voice cracked on the last sentence. Wiping away a tear, he smiled and continued. "If I could save anyone's life, it'd be my mum's. We're really close. My favorite color is purple, so maybe I should have been in Delacroix." Scorpius winked at her. "My favorite memory is when I discovered I was rich. And if I had a daughter, I would name her Bellatrix Tahira Malfoy." He smirked back. "Bellatrix after my aunt, and it means warrior. And Tahira means pure. So pure warrior." He crossed his legs and added,"Your turn."
((OOC: If Fred is a year younger than Scorpius, that makes him 14. Yet you have him as a member of the Order. I would say he's 4 years older than Scorpius. That would put him at 19 and of age, yes?
And, 2,356 words. Yay!))

A smile broke her silent pain as she smiled at him. "Yeah that quote... not the best in the way of the all powerful book." Rolling her eyes, she touched Scorpius's hand and looked at him. "Now listen here, your father will not die. Even if I my self throw myself in font of him to protect him. And plus, if he's a great death eater, than the point of killing him would weaken the Dark Lord and we all die cause of it." She tried to cheer him up a little. Very slowly she closed her eyes. "No Fred, my brother was in your house of course, only to be kept under watch. HOWEVER, Brad looked just like that, he was always smaller than most kids. Anyways Fred, yeah he hated you family." She stopped thought and let go of Scorpius's hand. "As I like to say, Love is hate and hate is war, and when all is lost war turns to love." She spoke gently and clearly as she touched her lips with her fingertip, nipping them slightly. "Well, if I'm to good, than I give in." She smirked playfully and settled herself closer to Scorpius and gently touched her knee again. Laughing gently she turned her head and said. "Hm you hex me. Yes of course, you would hurt little me. I just leave bruise, no scars." She smirked, not truly understanding. "Well as long as I don't have my hair on fire, I'm okay." She mocked his pout. "The answer to your question, is every one fights. As my adopted mother once said. 'Love can not survive with out hate. For hate is what brings you closer to the heart.' And well I took it to heart." She smiled and snickered. Cocking a eye-brow she nodded and pressed her fingers to her lips again.
"Hey I love the name Bob, only because he was my muggle friend, gay as can be." Dove broke into laughter. The she became shallower. "Plus he had this illness called Cancer. I made his wish come true, he wanted to kiss a girl, and I told him that even if he was the last man on earth I would not kiss him, got the witch next door kiss him." She sighed, and looked at him, "Your not losing your touch, you just happen to caught me in a very, bored time and well... can't explain right now." Slowly, she listen to him and shuttered. "Oh... oh my god Scorpius, I never should of asked that." It wasn't cold to Dove anymore she was loving tonight. "I think I'm more scared of your father than you... I'll give you a reason once I know." Dove chuckled, until she realized what she heard. "Scorpius Malfoy, I forbid you to cry in font of me. You'll make me cry okay." Dove nodded "Now, listen, I'm not wanting you to cry again okay, It hurts when you do." She than leaned away and changed back to there twenty questions. "If I could save anyone life, as you said, I would save my adopted father. I know he didn't like me much to begin with, but when I was alone and needed someone, he was at my side and listen to me. Like a true man would." Slowly she closed her eyes, opening them, she flushed. "Yeah you should of, anyways, I love the color sea green, it's just out there." She sighed and tilted her head and looked at Scorpius. "Oh course that's your favorite memory." She grumbled and than smiled. "My favorite memory is happening right now." She smiled and nodded approval. "It's perfect for me... just the right memory. Other than tonight, my favorite memory would be the day I got my letter to join Hogwarts." Than her face dropped. "Jordan M-something, she more in likely have her father's last name." She flushed. Almost copying Scorpius. "I just love the name Jordan, even if it a guy name, or maybe Dylan, oh yes two girls named Dylan and Jordan." She smiled and wanted to dance around. "Oh and if the damn father said no to those names, I got to with Cindy." She smiled. Her eyes fluttered shut for a moment. Remembering Scorpius's tear. She sighed and than opened her eyes. "I give up on twenty questions..." Her smile didn't return, she just studied him for a moment and than closed her eyes. "Don't move..." She breathed. Opening her eyes she leaned in a inch from his lips. "I'd love to forget Brad and all, I'll call you my first kiss." She closed her eyes and pressed her lips to his.

Scorpius nodded. "Yeah, you're right. He's an awesome Death Eater. The Dark Lord wouldn't kill him or Grandfather off." As Dove spoke, he thought of Brad and what he had almost done to Dove. His blood boiled and he saw red for a moment. Forcing himself to calm down, he thought of happier times. Well, he tried to anyways. But he kept coming up with a blank.
Scorpius shook his head again. "As I said, I'd never hurt you. The hex just makes steam come out of your ears for about 10 minutes. It's like extended Pepper-Up potion. And no, it won't set your hair on fire. That would be bad." He ran a hand through his own white-blond hair, toying with it for a moment before placing his hand on Dove's.
He went still for a moment. "Gay as can be, huh? Wow. And what's cancer? Is it bad?" He shrugged. "It's OK. I'm used to it. Keeps me in line, anyways...at least I'm not out running the streets like some punk Muggle." Scorpius grinned at Dove. "OK, friend. I'm won't cry in front of you." Closing his eyes, he pressed his lips to Dove's. Fireworks exploded inside his head as he did so. This felt so right, like it was meant to be.
