The year is 1977 and times are grim.
He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is on the rise and leaving a trail of destruction behind him. Muggles and Wizards are going missing more frequently than ever, but there is little that anyone can do to help. Even those who's job it is to find and detain this horrible creature are having a very hard time doing so. The situation is bleak.
Even Hogwarts, one of the most famous wizarding schools in England is feeling the effects. The rivalry between Gryffindor and Slytherin as is bitter as it has ever been; both houses firm in their beliefs and neither willing to back down. Meanwhile, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff are stuck in between, but one thing is clear; Hell is about to break loose.
However, not all is lost. Despite the impending war, students and staff alike are trying to boost moral and make the best of things; bringing light back into their darkest times. Hogsmeade trips are being planned, the Marauders are still up to their old tricks and romances are still making and breaking. There's even talks of a ball taking place at some point in the term to give everyone something to look forwards to.
So it leaves us with the question; what does destiny have planned for you? Will you make your allegiances clear or will you try to turn a blind eye and hope for the best? Maybe you'll just be...
