Julia appeared in Knockturn, in a nice little secluded side street, away from anyone who would give her a questioning look about the gaping wound on her neck. What had started as puncture wounds from a vampire's fangs had progressed to those puncture wounds, plus a portion of the skin around it being ripped and torn. In hindsight, it might not have been the best idea to cast the spell on Dmitri while he still had his fangs in her neck, but if she hadn't she probably wouldn't even be in Knockturn, she'd be on the stone floor of the Great Hall and probably dead.
Dropping her bag of belongings, which included her crystal ball and broom, on the ground and moving her hand away from the still-bleeding wound, Julia wiped the blood from her hand onto her pajama pants (she had been dressed in her pajamas when Dmitri attacked her), and pulled the mirror from her pocket. Neville had wanted her to contact him if she ever needed any help, and she could do with some help currently. Hell, she was barely able to stay conscious. The adrenaline from the fight was wearing off, replaced with a light-headedness and feelings of extreme pain. She slumped against the wall, sliding down into a sitting position.
Lifting the mirror in front of her face, she bit her lip to keep from screaming as soon as she opened her mouth before continuing. Her voice was laced with pain, her speech faster than normal as she pleaded for help. "Neville Longbottom." She managed, waiting for the mirror to work. "Neville, it's Julia. I really need some help right now. I left Hogwarts, and I'm in Knockturn." That was about all she was able to get out before the pain in her neck was too much to do anything other than wait for someone to come find her.

It had been a (relatively) normal day at St. Mungos for those in the Order and the Interfectum. Nothing 'big' had happened lately, and things seemed calm... A bit too calm, really. Hence why Inara was actually at St. Mungos, instead of her home. She preferred to spend most of her time at her house, as she believed it was safer than St. Mungos - but it was not big enough to hold the entire Order and the slayers, so she had to come to St. Mungos sometime. So, she had been there, chatting with a few other members - asking what they thought about this period of 'peace' (if you could call it that). They seemed to be optomistic about it, but Inara was still wary.
After talking with them, she had been heading up to her room to get a few things to bring back home with her, she planned on spending even more time at home, just in case - when she passed by Neville's room - and heard a voice that wasn't Neville's... Or Luna's, for that matter. She knew it wasn't her place to pry, but the voice sounded desperate. The door was open with the slightest crack, and so, she peered inside.
...There was no one in there. Inara's brow furrowed as she gave the room another once-over, but nothing had changed. She kept one hand on her wand, just in case, and stepped inside. Her dark brown eyes carefully moved over every inch of the room.. Until they came upon something that was moving - a mirror. And, inside that mirror, somewhat like a picture, there was a girl... She was the one talking - and she didn't look tood good. Inara could have sworn she saw a vampire bite on her neck, but only for a second, as the image was mainly just her head.
Who was this girl? And how did she manage to contact Neville like this? Inara approached the mirror, but stayed out of its range, just in case. This girl was obviously in trouble, and apparently was a student at Hogwarts - and she had left to Knocturn Alley. That must mean she was in a llot of trouble. Perhaps she was a potential Order member, working for Neville inside of the reformed Hogwarts! And since Neville wasn't here, off on a mission with a few other Order members, Inara had to take action.
Well, first, she went and got Eric. If her assumptions were right, and the wound on the girl's neck was a vampire bit, she would need him. Once she had found him, explained to him what had happened as best and as quickly as she could, she took ahold of him - and without warning, Apparated to Knocturn Alley. The two of them appeared at the other end of the small, secluded street where the girl was - Inara had been trying to keep quiet, but the 'crack!' of their Apparation was far from that.

Eric had been sleeping. Or rather, meditating. As a vampire, he didn't really need to sleep, but he liked to meditate to clear his mind. After the seven decades he'd been alive, things tended to pile up in there. Everyday he took some time to calm down, to sort things out that he was thinking about. After all, he didn't want to go into a fight with a cluttered mind. And when that time was interrupted, he got a bit testy. So it was natural that he grumbled a bit when Inara came and got him to go after some girl who was in Knockturn and needed their help. There wasn't an actual vampire there, was there? Then Eric didn't much care. Inara didn't really give him a choice in the matter, grabbing him and apparating to Knockturn. Eric hated Apparation, he much preferred vampiric methods of getting around.
Shaking off the weird feeling he always got when he traveled that way, Eric began making his way slowly towards the girl. He pulled a gun from his belt, keeping it at his side. If this girl meant no harm, Eric wasn't going to shoot her. His eyes scanned the shadows, looking for a hint of a vampire waiting there for them. As he got closer, the slayer could see why Inara wanted him. That wound was nasty. "Inara, whatever bit her surely did one hell of a job on her neck." He growled, watching the girl begin to stir from the semi-conscious state she had been in. "She's still bleeding." Julia heard a crack, light footsteps, and the grumble of a voice, but ignored them for the time being. She didn't even want to open her eyes, that movement hurt. Hell, everything hurt. She'd lost quite a bit of blood by that point, there was a long stream of it down her neck, staining her pajama top as well. There was the voice again, a low rumble in her thoughts. She cracked open one eye, then the other, and her wand came up as soon as she saw the man holding a gun. Wait. A gun? What was he, a muggle? If she wasn't afraid and in pain, Julia might have laughed. She looked past him, seeing that he wasn't alone, then aimed her wand at the man. She was still watching the woman, her eyes a bit spaced out. "Who the hell are you?" The only thing she knew was that they weren't Neville. And that was all that mattered. She didn't know who else to trust, and people in Knockturn weren't always the most trustworthy.[/blockquote]

Inara really wished Eric wouldn't have whipped out his gun - it probably wasn't helping their cause, and might get the girl afraid of them (even if she was a witch, and a gun probably didn't mean much to her. No matter though, Inara still had one hand on her wand that was tucked inside the dress she wore, just in case. There didn't seem to be a vampire in the immediate vacinity, but they were still in Knocturn Alley... And both she and Eric were known Order members, so if a follower of Voldemort saw them, that wouldn't end well. This seemed to be a secluded alley, so that was a good thing.
Inara had been hoping to have this all go nice and calmly - but since when did that ever happen? As soon as the girl saw Eric and his gun, she raised her wand. She hardly seemed strong enough to even hold up her wand, she had probably lost a lot of blood, but still, she and Eric had to be careful that no one got hurt. Inara came to stand in front of Eric, letting her hand leave her wand, and raising both hands up palms out, to hope to calm the girl down.
"My name is Inara Srini," She didn't give her title as an Order member or a slayer, yet, "We're here to help you." She wanted to make sure that this girl was indeed on their side, and glanced to her other hand - seeing a mirror, identical to the one that was in Neville's room. She had to be at least friends with Neville, if he had given her that. "You were trying to contact Neville Longbottom, weren't you?" She questioned, keeping her voice low when she said his name, just in case. "We... work for him." She didn't say outright that they were part of the Order - because saying that might attract more attention than Neville's name, and if this girl wasn't truly a friend, she might try to curse them. But, if this girl was on their side, hopefully, she would get the hint.

Eric gave the girl a look as she raised her wand. Really. He looked like he could snap her in two over his leg, and she was raising a wand at him? He smirked slightly, though that probably just made him look even more creepy. As soon as he was sure there wasn't a vampire about to jump out and attack, he tucked the gun back into it's holster. He didn't need it out if there wasn't a vampire, and he would need both hands to help patch up the girl. "No need for the wand. We're not going to hurt you, I promise." His voice was a bit more calm, laced with that vampiric charm. The last thing they needed was some teenage witch going off on them because she was paranoid.
"Eric Brooks." He said, still looking the girl over. She looked like she was going to drop dead at any moment. that would be quite unfortunate, to go all this way just to have the girl die. Eric wouldn't stand for it. "You're in good hands." He offered, crossing his arms over his chest while he watched the girl.
Julia continued to watch the woman, a bit scared of the man. As the woman approached, Julia lowered her wand; holding it up had been a bit tiring. She wouldn't have been able to put up much of a fight, and most people would have been able to tell that. As they introduced themselves, Julia looked them over. For all she knew, they were lying about working for Neville. But they wouldn't have been able to find her otherwise, would they? She didn't really have much of a choice to trust them though, fighting wasn't much of an option against the two.
"Yes. He told me to contact him if I needed help. And, well, I need some help." Her voice was still ridden with pain, quiet now. "My name is Julia Porter." She offered, not sure what else to tell them at this point. "Lets just say I had a run-in with a vampire at school." She motioned to the puncture on her neck, hoping they really were friends of Neville. [[Gaaah, this sucked.]]

Inara let out a small sigh of relief when Eric put away his gun, and the girl lowered her wand. That was much better. Now that they all could relax, Inara cast a glance over the girl's shoulder, looking into the distance where the alley they were in let out to the main street of Knocturn Alley, and various dark witches and wizards were passing by, hardly paying attention to them. Now, they just needed to get out of here as soon as they could, before someone did started noticing them.
Inara's attention was quickly directed back at the girl, when she said her name. Julia Porter... Why did that sound familiar? Brows furrowed, the slayer racked her brain... When it hit her. This girl was related to at Death Eater... James Porter. Was this his sister? Inara remembered hearing about her, how she wasn't as supportive as the Dark Lord as her brother was - but she would have never though the girl would go so far as to join the Order! That caused a small smile to come to Inara's face, though that smile was quickly wiped away when Julia said she had a run-in with a vampire at Hogwarts.
It pissed both Inara and Eric, and probably every other slayer, that the Dark Lord had put vampires - a whole house of them - in Hogwarts. There had been casualities before, Inara was sure of that, but the Dark Lord probably didn't care, because none of them had ever gotten out. But Julia had. Perhaps this would work to both the slayer and the Order's benefit... Hmm. Taking another step towards Julia, Inara softened her gaze a bit.
"Well, I know we can both help you with that," Inara started, glancing to the wound, "We're vampire slayers." Her voice was low again, just in case. "We can patch up that wound and make sure whatever bit you didn't give you any viruses or diseases... Vampires carry a lot of those." She trailed off, not wanting to worry the girl too much. "Neville is out on a mission, but he'll return to the Order headquarters soon... In the meantime, I can take you to my house."
Inara had to be sure that this girl was on their side - therefore, she would take her to her on house first, until she could contact Neville and make sure that he knew her. Besides, Inara was much more equiped at her house for treating vampire bites, even if St. Mungo's was a hospital... Inara was much more comfortable at her own house with such things. "We won't force you to go - I know it may be hard to trust strangers - but we do want to help you." With that, she extended her hand to the girl.

Eric rolled his eyes as Inara sighed. Really, he hadn't shot the girl or anything, had he? No, he was only going to shoot something if it had fangs, excluding himself. He was just being careful, like she always lectured him to be. He wasn't being reckless this time. But at least the young woman's wand was away now, no angsty teenage witch spells would be hitting them anytime soon. Eric kept his eyes towards the entrance of the street, ready to spring into action should someone decide to investigate what was going on down the side street.
He turned to the girl when she said her name. Wasn't there a James Porter in Voldemort's ranks? Eric was suspicious now, his trust for the girl much less now. After all, it made such a touching story, didn't it? The girl gets attacked, runs away, and finds help in the caring Order of the Phoenix. But he'd be damned if he was going to blindly trust the girl to not be a spy. This just gave him another reason to be watchful.
When she said she'd been attacked by a vampire, Eric growled slightly, baring his fangs for a moment before he managed to control his anger. She didn't need to be freaked out any more, she had been attacked by a vampire after all. But this was what Voldemort deserved wasn't it? He put an entire house of vampires in Hogwarts, what else did he expect? There would be attacks, and someone would eventually get away to tell the world about it and take some revenge.
He went back to watching the entrance as Inara looked at the wound. "We're quite good with those things, Julia." He smirked. They'd had plenty of experience with vampire bites. "And no one will be able to get to you once you're in Inara's house. I'll make sure of that." Plus all of Inara's security measures, Julia would be quite fine. Hell, Eric could probably rip most of the people who would attack limb from limb with his bare hands. No need to worry the girl with those images though. Julia watched them as they took in her name. She expected them to be a bit more on edge now. After all, she sounded like a great spy if that had been her aim. If she were an Order member, she wouldn't trust someone with Julia's background and story. She knew she would have to work to earn their trust, and she was ready to. As soon as her neck stopped feeling like it was on fire.
Vampire slayers? Julia needed that right now. They had to know how to fix whatever Dmitri had done to her. He'd taken a bit of skin when she hexed him, and she was ready to get this wound cleaned up and patched up. Viruses? Diseases? Julia hadn't thought about that through all of this, and now she was a bit more worried. What if Dmitri had infected her with something? Well, she couldn't worry about that now. What was done was done, all they could do now was just fix her up as much as possible.
"That sounds reasonable." After all, they couldn't be sure if they could trust her yet. Neville did, but he wasn't there. Taking her to their headquarters wouldn't be a good idea if she was a spy. "Believe me, you wouldn't have to force me. I don't have that many choices if I want this fixed." She managed a chuckle, lifting her less-bloody hand to Inara as Eric picked up her bag and belongings.[/blockquote]

In the moment that she waited for Julia to take her hand, Inara was deep in thought. This girl was either incredibly genuine, and really did need her help - or she was a great spy, sent by the Dark Lord. There was evidence pointing to each side, good evidence, unfortunately, and that made Inara a bit wary. Of course, Inara was probably the biggest worry-wart on the face of the planet, even if she managed to keep herself calm, she still was on edge.
First of all, this girl's brother was a known Death Eater, and a high ranking one at that. Second, she had come from Hogwarts, a school under Voldemort's control - and therefore, she had every reason to be a spy. But, then, there was the evidence in her favor... The mirror, which Inara knew she couldn't have gotten unless Neville gave it to her, the vampire bite, which she probably hadn't gotten willingly, and the fact that she had called the Order for help.
Inara was pulled back into reality when Julia finally grabbed her hand, the blood didn't bother Inara at all, she had most certainly dealt with worse. Giving a smile to the girl, one that, amazingly enough, wasn't forced, she tightened her grip on her hand and cast a glance over to the main street of Knocturn Alley once more. There was a dark wizard looking their way suspiciously, and now would be a perfect time to leave. Without further hesitation, Inara took hold of Eric with her free hand, and the lot of them Apparated back to Inara's home.
